GreenStone FCS has a very diverse customer base, which further adds to our market and financial strength. GreenStone has over 17,500 customers with over 33,000 loans. Our loan portfolio is very diversified across industries. In addition, our customers are very diversified across size and product type.

Young Beginning and Small Farmers

With special programs designed for young, beginning and small farmers, GreenStone has a large percentage of its loan assets and financial services sales with customers in these markets. With these segments providing the future strength and balance of the industry, we are proud that we are able to attract and serve such a high percentage of customers in these segments. As a group, 69% of all loans and 46% of loan commitments in GreenStone's loan portfolio are with individuals and businesses that are defined as either young, beginning, or small farm operations.

Commercial Operations and Agribusinesses

Our industry leading expertise in agriculture and agribusiness allows GreenStone to provide specialized financial services to the commercial and agribusiness markets. GreenStone has product specialists and very experienced lenders in this area that provide added value to these market segments. Customers in these segments vary from large traditional family farms to agribusinesses that provide services to the rural community.

Residential Lending

With our specialization in rural lending, we also serve the Michigan and Wisconsin rural residential market extremely effectively. GreenStone's rural residential portfolio consists of 2,000 loans totaling $165 million. This represents 7% of the loan numbers and 4% of total GreenStone loan volume.
