GreenStone FCS offers trade credit products that allow customers to obtain credit or other financial services through an agribusiness at the point of sale of equipment, supplies, or services. GreenStone has developed trade credit relationships with these agribusinesses for the benefit of customers and dealers to make financing purchases as convenient as possible.

The overall goal of GreenStone's trade credit programs is to deliver competitive, dependable credit and financial services through an accessible dealer network.  The ability to originate the credit application at the place of purchase creates a very convenient product and service bundle for the agribusiness and provides a very fast, convenient and competitively priced finance option for the customer.

The trade credit programs offered by GreenStone include:

• GreenStone Gear-Up offerings for dealers/manufacturers of agricultural equipment serving customers within GreenStone's service area
• ProPartners Financial relationships for agribusiness firms serving a regional, multi-state or national territory

GreenStone Gear Up Financing

Gear Up programs are designed for agribusinesses located within the GreenStone FCS service area that market machinery, equipment and facilities. Product offerings, pricing, program development, and qualification parameters may be customized for each program. The Gear Up programs offer the following benefits:

• Loan and lease products designed specifically to effectively compete in the new/used equipment financing market
• Local GreenStone Financial Service Officers are assigned as relationship officers to the agribusiness to assist with any processing issues
• Allows the dealer to concentrate their efforts on sales and obtaining the best deal for the customer
• Applications can be entered directly on the greenstonefcs.com web site or can be faxed to the credit processing center.  Either way an answer is returned to the dealer within 30 minutes during established business hours.  (Of course, the decision is conditional based on verification of application data)
• GreenStone handles all of the processing of the credit requests
• Loan closing can be either at the dealer, at a GreenStone office or at the purchasers Farm
• Funds can be disbursed direct to the dealer the same day as closing
• The program offers simple and competitive interest rate and loan term plans
• Buydowns, special interest rate programs, cash discounts and dealer guarantees are all available options

ProPartners Financial

Through a partnership with other Farm Credit Associations, GreenStone offers the ProPartners Financial program to regional and national suppliers, dealers and other agribusinesses.  The products and services offered through ProPartners Financial specifically designed for agribusinesses that operate on a regional or national basis.  For each program, product offerings, pricing, program development, and qualification parameters are customized for the particular needs of the agribusiness.  Some of the benefits of this program include:

• Loan and lease products designed specifically to the unique needs of the agribusiness
• A relationship officer (or team of relationship officers) assist with any processing issues and in training sales staff in your business
• Allows the agribusiness to have a consistent program for all locations
• Offers simplicity in administration with a single program across the company
• Automated and consistent processing and documentation for all requests
• ProPartners Financial handles all of the processing of the credit requests
• Loan closing is at the dealer/supplier location
• Funds can be disbursed direct to the dealer/supplier the same day as closing
• The program offers simple and competitive interest rate and loan term plans
