$2,000 University of Wisconsin Scholarship Available, GreenStone Seeking Qualified Applicants

GreenStone Farm Credit Services will once again offer a $2,000 scholarship to an incoming freshman attending the University of Wisconsin pursuing a scholastic program in agriculture.

“GreenStone’s scholarship program aims to assist deserving students who show an interest in agricultural based careers,” said Melissa Rogers, GreenStone’s vice president of marketing and public relations. “The agricultural industry is incredibly diverse and offers career opportunities for all interests – out in the field, on the processing line, or in the board room – that demand talented individuals with a passion for agriculture."

Scholarship applicants must be graduating from a high school in Wisconsin or Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, have at least a 3.0 grade point average and select a major preference in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences at the University of Wisconsin. Applicants should exhibit leadership skills and community involvement.
