Woelmer Transitions to New Role with GreenStone

Andrew Woelmer has become the newest financial services officer with GreenStone Farm Credit Services’ Adrian branch.

In his new role, Woelmer will assist customers and prospects in Lenawee County with their agricultural lending needs by offering financial solutions such as real estate, equipment and operating loans, and lease financing.

Although new to this position, Woelmer joined GreenStone in May 2015, as part of the association’s loan officer trainee program. As a trainee, he proactively gained the credit and product knowledge, and hands-on experience needed to transition to a financial services officer role. Outside of GreenStone, Woelmer also manages a small corn and soybean cash crop farm in Monroe County.

“We are excited to welcome Andrew to his new role at our Adrian location,” said Erin DuBois, regional vice president of sales and customer relations. “The hands-on experience Andrew gained as a loan officer trainee, paired with his involvement in agriculture, will serve him well in his new position.”

Growing up in Monroe County, Woelmer was heavily involved with his local 4-H chapter showing chicken, rabbits, and sheep, and worked on his family’s cash crop operation. Later, he attended Ferris State University where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree, majoring in applied math and minoring in finance. Outside of the office, Woelmer also enjoys watching sports and playing golf.
