During a recent meeting, the GreenStone FCS Board of Directors elected the 2011-2012 board chairperson and vice chairperson.

Board of Directors Reorganization

The GreenStone FCS Board of Directors recently elected the 2011-2012 board chairperson and vice chairperson. Frank Engler, of Isabella County, Michigan, will serve a second consecutive year as the Board Chairperson with Scott Roggenbuck, from Huron County, Michigan, elected as the Vice Chairperson.

Engler is a 17-year board member, raising beef and cash crops in Mt. Pleasant, Michigan. He also serves on the Isabella County Soil Conservation Board, Isabella County Farm Bureau Board, Isabella County GOP Executive Committee, Vision 20/20 Economic Development Group, Beal City Knights of Columbus Building Committee, and Deerfield Township Board of Review.

Roggenbuck has served on the GreenStone board four years. He resides in Harbor Beach, Michigan where he is a cash crop farmer and president of Cedar Pond Farms, Inc., a grain, sugar beet, and beef operation, and of a Pioneer seed sales agency, Cedar Pond Ag Service. Roggenbuck is also a member of the Sugar Beet Advancement Committee, Michigan Sugar Beet Research Committee, St. Anthony’s Men’s Club, and St. Anthony’s Building Committee.
