Customers of GreenStone Farm Credit Services have spoken, and their opinion is clear; they are satisfied with the products, services and customer service provided by the cooperative.

GreenStone scored a 96 percent satisfaction rating among customers on a recently completed survey conducted by Michigan-based Advantage Research and Analysis. The most recent results mark the 12th consecutive year that the cooperative has posted a satisfaction rating greater than 90 percent.

“Each member of our staff focuses on putting the needs of our customers ahead of everything else and, based on these survey results, that dedication has been recognized by our customers,” said GreenStone President and CEO, Dave Armstrong. “While these results validate our approach to customer service, we will always work hard to provide exceptional service to both new and existing customers.”

Customers indicated they were most satisfied with the performance of clerical support staff and loan officers, the financial soundness of the cooperative and the value GreenStone has for its customers. Additionally, 95 percent of customers surveyed indicated they would likely return to GreenStone for their future lending needs.

“Typical customer satisfaction ratings at other financial institutions are in the 65 – 85 percent range, with anything above 80 percent regarded as an excellent performance,” said Dr. Robert Myers, Project Director, from Advantage Research and Analysis. “To consistently receive customer satisfaction ratings in the 94 – 97 percent range, as GreenStone has over the past five years, is astonishing.”

Contributing to the cooperative’s overall satisfaction rate were the high marks received by GreenStone’s 37 branch locations. Individual branch satisfaction ratings ranged from 86 percent to 100 percent, with seven branches earning a perfect rating.

GreenStone customers throughout Michigan and Wisconsin participated in the survey. A random selection of members from the cooperative’s traditional, country living, and commercial customer segment participated in the survey.
