GreenStone Honored at National Best of NAMA Awards Ceremony

The GreenStone Farm Credit Services’ marketing and public relations department was recently honored by the National Agri-Marketing Association (NAMA) during the 2012 Agri-Marketing Conference in Kansas City, Missouri. GreenStone received the first-place award in the “less-than-page print advertisement, series” category at the national Best of NAMA competition.

“We faced incredible competition for this award and are ecstatic to have come away with the win,” said GreenStone executive vice president, Jack Kelly. “GreenStone’s in-house marketing and public relations team produces quality work from concept to finished product, and can compete with anyone in the business.”

GreenStone’s submission was conceptualized and designed in-house by the cooperative’s marketing department. The entry beat out submissions from Pioneer Hi-Bred, Global Animal Management, Wheat Growers, and CNH Parts & Service whose entries were designed through partnering advertising agencies.

“The marketing and public relations team works very hard and takes a tremendous amount of pride in our work,” said Melissa Rogers, GreenStone’s vice president of marketing and public relations. “Receiving this recognition nationally, above several exceptional company and agency teams, verifies the quality and creativity of work the GreenStone group executes every day. This national Best of NAMA award is an incredible honor.”

In addition to national recognition, GreenStone’s print advertisements were also awarded first place in NAMA’s regional competition earlier this year. The association’s 2010 annual report also received a merit award at the regional level.
