GreenStone Inks Sponsorship Deal with Professional BASS Angler VanDam

GreenStone Farm Credit Services has become the latest in a growing list of companies to sign Bassmaster Elite Series pro angler, Jonathon VanDam, to a sponsorship deal for the 2013 season.

“As an avid outdoorsman, Jonathon is a perfect fit to represent the GreenStone brand,” said GreenStone vice president of marketing and public relations, Melissa Rogers. “He has established a strong following throughout our territory and will help promote the diversity of our country living products, such as recreational land loans, to a broad audience.”

“GreenStone is an exceptional organization that understands the importance of putting the needs of their customers first,” said VanDam. “I am excited to begin working with the staff at GreenStone to promote their wide range of financial products and services, and I look forward to being part of the team for many years to come.”

VanDam’s jersey and truck will both feature the GreenStone logo throughout 2013, as will his boat in select tournaments. He will also make appearances at various outdoor trade shows on behalf of GreenStone during the year.

A Kalamazoo, Michigan, native, VanDam is the second youngest angler to ever win a Bassmaster Elite Series title with his July 1, 2012 victory at the Green Bay (Wisconsin) Challenge in only his second season on the Elite tour. To date, he has posted more than $230,000 in B.A.S.S. earnings. He is scheduled to participate in his first Bassmaster Classic Feb. 22-24 on Grand Lake O’ the Cherokees in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

VanDam credits his father and grandfather for introducing him to fishing many years ago and is also the nephew of four-time Bassmaster Classic Champion, Kevin VanDam.

Jonathon VanDam will work with GreenStone to help promote the organization’s country living products and services – including recreational land loans – in 2013.
