Hunter Joins GreenStone’s Bad Axe Branch as Senior Financial Services Officer


Shane Hunter has joined GreenStone’s Bad Axe branch as a senior financial services officer. Hunter will focus on assisting GreenStone’s traditional agriculture customers in Huron County, while also developing new business relationships with additional producers in the area.

“Shane has established himself in this area and has built a reputation as a trusted and reliable financial consultant,” said Randy Stec, vice president of sales and customer relations for GreenStone. “His commercial lending background will be a valuable asset for GreenStone and our customers.”

Prior to joining GreenStone, Hunter spent 12 years as a senior loan officer and risk management officer at Tri-County Bank in Marlette, Michigan.

A native of Indiana, Hunter grew up in Marlette, before earning a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Baker College. In 2010, he graduated from the banking school at Louisiana State University.

Hunter and his wife, Abby, currently reside in Marlette with their two children. He is very active in the local community, serving on both the Marlette City Council and Fire Authority Board.
