Kyle Hurley has joined GreenStone Farm Credit Services as a vice president of commercial lending. In this role, he will specialize in assisting large cash crop, fruit, vegetable, and swine producers with their lending and financial service’s needs.

While Hurley is new to GreenStone, he brings more than 12 years of agricultural lending experience to the association. He previously worked as a senior credit products underwriter, and most recently as a principal agriculture industry specialist where he was responsible for managing production agriculture and business accounts.

“We are excited to welcome Kyle as the newest addition to GreenStone’s commercial lending team,” said Jeff Sommerfield, vice president and commercial lending unit group manager. “His passion for building relationships with customers and putting their operation first, coupled with his extensive knowledge of the financial industry, will be a huge benefit to our members.”

Hurley earned a Bachelor of Science degree in agricultural economics from Purdue University, and later obtained a Master of Business Administration from the Krannert School of Management at the same institution. In addition, he was also heavily involved in the management of his family’s large hog operation. Today, Hurley currently resides in Niles with his wife, Kori, and their four daughters. Outside of the office, he enjoys coaching youth sports and serves as a youth leader at his local church.
