Jelinek Named Financial Services Officer with Lapeer GreenStone Branch

Tracy Jelinek has been named financial services officer in GreenStone Farm Credit Services’ Lapeer office. In her new role, Jelinek will assist customers in Genesee, Lapeer, Macomb, Oakland and St. Clair counties with financial solutions to meet the needs of their operation with products such as real estate, equipment and operating loans, and lease financing.

“Tracy brings years of experience and a tremendous passion for agriculture to her new position,” said Jim Nowak, regional vice president of sales and customer relations. “She will be a great asset for our Lapeer branch customers.”

While she is new to the financial services officer role, Jelinek is a familiar face to GreenStone’s Lapeer customers. She has worked in the branch since 2007 as a customer service representative, and helped process customer transactions.

Jelinek brings a wealth of agriculture knowledge and hands-on experience to her new role. She was raised on a cash crop operation in Monee, Illinois, before attending Illinois State University where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in agribusiness. She now operates a 800-acre cash crop and 250-head cow/calf operation with her husband, Phillip.

Jelinek and her husband currently reside in Davison, Michigan, with their sons Kyle and Tyler.
