Nelson Transitions to New Role with GreenStone

Kimberly Nelson has been named the newest financial services officer with GreenStone Farm Credit Services’ Hart branch. In this role, she will be focused on agricultural customers and their lending needs in Mason, Muskegon, Newaygo, and Oceana counties.

Nelson will assist new and existing customers to ensure their financial needs are met by offering solutions such as real estate, equipment and operating loans, and lease financing.

Although new to this position, Nelson has been a familiar face at the Hart branch having previously served as a customer service representative since 2008.

“Kimberly has been an integral part of the Hart branch team for the last eight years. She has the necessary skills, experience serving our customers, and first-hand knowledge of GreenStone’s financial products and services, which made her an ideal candidate for this position,” said Melissa Humphrey, regional vice president of sales and customer relations. “Having the ability to promote talented individuals – like Kimberly – from within GreenStone’s workforce is one of the many ways the organization is committed to helping employees reach their future career goals and in turn, maintain a high level of satisfaction with our customers.”

Nelson grew up in the Branch area on her family’s small hobby farm. She later attended Baker College where she earned a business administration degree. Today, Nelson resides in Mason County with her husband, Nick, and their three children. Outside of the office, she enjoys camping, kayaking, and being outdoors.
