Sheridan Joins GreenStone’s Mason Branch

Larry Sheridan has joined GreenStone’s Mason, Michigan branch as a senior financial services officer. Sheridan comes to the Mason branch following the promotion of Jim Byars to vice president in the cooperative’s Commercial Lending Unit.

In his new role, Sheridan will assist agricultural customers in Ingham and Livingston counties with financial solutions to meet the needs of their operation with products such as real estate, equipment and operating loans, and lease financing.

“We are excited to add Larry to GreenStone’s Mason branch,” said Jim Nowak, regional vice president of sales and customer relations for GreenStone. “He brings a tremendous amount of agriculture and financial experience to this position, which will help ensure a smooth transition for our customers.”

Sheridan’s work in agriculture started at an early age; he was raised on his family’s beef cattle farm in Fowlerville, Michigan. He later attended Michigan State University (MSU) where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree majoring in animal science. Additionally, he has worked with MSU Extension and, more recently, the Lapeer office of the Farm Service Agency.

Sheridan and his wife, Marie, reside in Webberville, Michigan. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family, children and grand-children, as well as fishing.
