The Agricultural Leaders of Michigan and the Detroit/Wayne County Port Authority invite you to attend a symposium on the issues and opportunities surrounding water transportation in Michigan. Please join us for an in-depth discussion with leaders in agriculture, business, government and more. Highlights include:

  • A presentation on the importance of imports/exports for Michigan by Keith Creagh, director of the Michigan Department of Agriculture & Rural Development.
  • An update on the status of port business by Steve Fisher, executive director of the American Great Lakes Ports Association.
  • A presentation on legislative issues affecting ports and water transportation by Senator Mike Kowall, chair of the Senate Economic Development Committee.
