  • What to expect - Application Essentials

    Our secure Online Loan Application should take approximately 15 minutes to complete. We’ll ask you questions about yourself and any co-applicant(s) you list on your application, such as details regarding your property, income, liabilities, and assets. Having the following information available will help you more easily answer these questions, and will expedite your application during the loan review process:

    • Pay stubs for the last 30 days
    • Past two years of W-2s or IRS Tax Returns
    • Two months of banking statements
    • Verification of investments and 401k

    To accurately review your application, we will need to pull your credit report. Rest assured, this type of credit inquiry will only impact your score by approximately 3-5 points for six months.

  • Your next step - Starting your application
    When you are ready to begin, click the Let’s Get Started button below. Because you will be sharing personal information with us, you will be required to set up a simple My Access Lite account. This will allow you to securely complete your application, or if needed, save and return to it later. If you'd prefer, you could elect to create a full My Access account, which takes only a few minutes and unlocks many convenient features, such as our secure File Exchange, which you can use during the loan review process of your application and beyond.
  • We will take it from here - Loan review process

    Once you submit your Online Loan Application, and authorize us to pull your credit, our team will get to work! Your loan request will be sent to your local branch where your financial services officer will review your application within two business days. Depending on your loan request, they may require additional documentation, which can be sent securely and conveniently through the same My Access account you created during the application process. As your application and information is being reviewed and verified, your financial services officer will keep you updated and provide you with information related to your loan application.

    Following a loan, which is good for 90 days, we will order an appraisal, title insurance, and lock your interest rate. This process normally takes 3-5 weeks.

  • You are closing - Finalizing your loan
    Before you know it, it will be time to schedule your closing. We will work with you to find a convenient location, such as your local GreenStone branch, title company, home, or maybe even your favorite coffee shop!
