In lieu of hosting an in-person holiday celebration this year for customers, our Cadillac branch took a different, community centered approach, on behalf of all our members.
Dedicated to the hard work these four local organizations have put into making the community a better place, the Cadillac branch donated a combined total of $2,000 for these organizations wonderful efforts. The donation recipients are Life House Assembly of God, The Salvation Army, Cadillac Corps, Community Hope, and RCAMA.
Branch members shared that the selected charities were chosen based upon their continuous involvement and support within their associated counties.
The selected organizations will utilize the donated funds to continue to provide critical services and support to Cadillac and surrounding communities. Life House Assembly of God, for example, serves the community through their Bread of Life Food Bank where patrons in need can pick up essential food supplies. The other included organizations serve their communities through food pantries, financial support, disaster relief, and many other support services.
“After a detailed branch discussion, knowing there are so many hardships happening today due to COVID-19, we as a group thought it best that we offer something, as small as it may be, back to our wonderful community,” shared Kimberly Cool, a senior financial services officer at the Cadillac branch.
The giving spirit is a shared value among staff and customers. Stacey Mason, a tax accountant at the Cadillac branch shared, “We knew our customers would agree to forgo their gift in order to help those in need and those struggling due to COVID-19. That’s just who our customers are, and we knew they would be honored as much as we are to be able to help.”
