On July 17, GreenStone interns volunteered at Potter Park Zoo in Lansing, Mich. While there, they were cleaning up a garden area and pulling weeds. They also had the opportunity to tour the zoo and even pet a rhino!

The following day, the interns were in the classroom learning about dining etiquette. Learning and development specialist, Lindsey Bliss, taught the class and provided valuable information along with demonstration of how professionals should act in a formal dining setting. The lessons she taught will stick with the interns for years to come as they advance in their careers and have the opportunity to attend networking and formal employer events.

Throughout the summer, they will have the opportunity to learn from real world experiences while working full-time. The program also offers interns exclusive events such as a farm tour and a chance to present their summer projects to GreenStone employees.

Check back every Wednesday for new posts about GreenStone careers and intern highlights.
