For senior financial services officer, Kim Cool, of GreenStone’s Cadillac branch, getting involved in her community and helping others is just one perk of being a Water Wonderland Board of Realtors (WWBR) affiliate member.
Throughout the last decade, Kim has connected with members of the community and donated her time to WWBR in a variety of ways. She regularly attends membership outings, events and often participates in committee level meetings. Kim also donates gifts and prizes for drawings and fifty-fifty giveaways to raise money for WWBR.
Kim’s years of dedication and hard work were recently recognized at the 2019 WWBR annual meeting where she was awarded Affiliate of the Year. While she enjoys supporting WWBR and is grateful for the award, the individuals she meets and works with while volunteering are what she values the most.
“Consistency and trust are key,” Kim says. “People want to know that their loan officer is the same person when volunteering, getting involved or just sitting in the stands.”
Like WWBR, GreenStone emphasizes community engagement and takes pride in giving back. The cooperative greatly appreciates having compassionate employees, like Kim, who also share this value.
“GreenStone encourages not only loan officers, but all employees, to get involved through the volunteer program,” Kim explains. “It’s important to help where you can, when you can and to always remember: a little goes a very long way.”
Congratulations to Kim on being named Water Wonderland Board of Realtors’ Affiliate of the Year and thank you for your continuous dedication to the community.
