Our communities are rich with aspiring youth doing great things – growing minds, experiences, and products! To bring awareness to the big and little things they are doing, GreenStone is recognizing youth who “Grow Something Good!”
GreenStone not only recognizes the good youth are doing within their communities, but we want to celebrate them, too. To do so, GreenStone is handing out t-shirts to youth who stand out among their peers for embodying the phrase "Grow Something Good".
With a goal of showcasing all the good – the positive – brought by the youth around us, we want to highlight their efforts and keep encouraging youth to continue doing good. There’s no limit to what "Grow Something Good" could represent. We want to ensure that we recognize and reward youth of diverse backgrounds and interests that exemplify positive characteristics such as hard work, kindness, giving, learning, responsible and reliable...the list goes on. In some cases, growing something good could reference youth who volunteer within their community, raise animals or grow plants, lead others inside and outside of the classroom in organizations such as 4-H or FFA, or even as simple as giving a helping hand when needed or without being asked.
We congratulate each and every person growing and doing good – whether you have been acknowledged with a t-shirt or not – and thank you for making a positive impact within your community. Keep up the great work!

To help us showcase all the ways youth are doing good, we invite anyone who has been given a Grow Something Good t-shirt to share a photo of yourself with your T-Shirt on GreenStone’s Facebook post. Include #GrowSomethingGood in the caption along with a short explanation of the good that you have been doing within the community! Don’t forget to give a shout out to the GreenStone branch that awarded you with the T-Shirt as well.
You can also send your photo and story to marketing@greenstonefcs.com to be featured. The comment with the most interaction will win a $100 gift card, so make sure to tell everyone to like your comment!

Eligibility: This contest is open only to those who participate by sharing a photo on the GreenStone Farm Credit Service’s Facebook page under the specific Contest post during the specified time frame and who are 18 years of age or older as of the date of entry. The contest is only open to legal residents of Michigan and Wisconsin and is void where prohibited by law. Participants cannot win a prize more than once. Employees of GreenStone Farm Credit Services, its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and suppliers, (collectively the “Employees”), and immediate family members and those living in the same household of Employees are not eligible to participate in the contest. The Contest is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Void where prohibited.

Agreement to Rules: By participating, the Contest participant (“You”) agree to be fully and unconditionally bound by these Rules, and You represent and warrant that You meet the eligibility requirements. Contest Period: Entries submitted via commenting on the Facebook post will be accepted starting on July 10, 2023 through October 1, 2023. The Winner will be announced on Facebook October 9, 2023.

How to Enter: The Contest must be entered by sharing a photo of your child in their Grow Something Good t-shirt under the designated post as directed on the GreenStone FCS Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/GreenStoneFCS, the QR code sticker on your t-shirt should take you right there. If you use fraudulent methods or otherwise attempt to circumvent the rules, your submission may be removed from eligibility at the sole discretion of GreenStone Farm Credit Services.

Prizes: The entrant with the most engagement (i.e., likes) on their post will win a $100 Mastercard. If there is a tie, those with the same number of likes will be put into a drawing. Actual or appraised value of the prize may differ at time of prize award. The specifics of the prize shall be solely determined by GreenStone Farm Credit Services. No cash or other prize substitution shall be permitted except at GreenStone Farm Credit Services’ discretion. The prize is nontransferable. Any and all prize-related expenses, including without limitation any and all federal, state, and local taxes, shall be the sole responsibility of the Contest Winner (“Winner”). No substitution of prize, or transfer or assignment of prize to others, or request for the cash equivalent by Winner is permitted. Disputes: THIS CONTEST IS GOVERNED BY THE LAWS OF the United States of America AND the State of Michigan, WITHOUT RESPECT TO CONFLICT OF LAW DOCTRINES.
