Crop insurance interns are a key piece to ensuring our customers obtain the insurance coverage they desire.
“Our summer interns play a critical role in assisting the entire crop insurance team in getting and processing acreage reports. This is the most critical and busiest time of year for us and our insureds to ensure we meet the acreage reporting deadline, and our customers get the exact coverage they signed up for in the spring,” explained Ben Mahlich, VP of crop insurance.
There are currently four interns working with the crop insurance department: Lily Wendland, Herbert Fernander, Grace Hull, and Dalton Hanchek.
