Having access to daily market prices is important as dairy producers become more familiar with the dairy revenue protection program and are evaluating possible coverage amounts. To help producers track the markets, we have designed an easy and convenient way to monitor the prices used to establish Dairy RP coverage amounts.
The Dairy RP coverage prices and rates are typically validated each day beginning at 3 p.m. and are in effect until 9 a.m. central time the following business day (or when DRP sales are held). We will post these prices on our website each day after 4 p.m. (when DRP is sold). The rates are posted on our Dairy and Livestock Insurance page.
