USDA’s Emergency Relief Program (ERP)

If you have incurred payable losses from either crop insurance or NAP in either 2020 or 2021, be on the lookout for a pre-filled ERP application in the mail from the USDA. You will be a part of PHASE 1 of the program. ERP covers losses to crop, trees, bushes, and vines due to a qualifying natural disaster event in calendar years 2020 and 2021.

Phase 2 will come at a later time, and will address those that incurred either shallow losses that didn’t trigger an insurance payment, or for uninsured producers.

This program will be administered through the Farm Service Agency, with education and assistance from your GreenStone crop insurance team.
